# getAccount

`GET https://api.map.audio/v1/account`

Get the calling account

Who this credential belongs to: the Music API account's status, the terms version it accepted, its tier's limits and this month's render-minutes. Call it first. `currentTerms` is the version POST /v1/account/terms takes (every request that starts work needs it), and `credits.remaining` is what jobs can still draw. Free.

Auth: `Authorization: Bearer` with an API key or a map.audio access token. MCP tool: `get_account`.

## Responses

- `200`: The account.
- `403`: No Music API access yet
- `default`: Any other error: `error.code` names it, `error.param` the field at fault, and `error.docUrl` its entry in the error catalogue.
