# cancelJob

`POST https://api.map.audio/v1/jobs/{id}/cancel`

Cancel a job

Stop a queued or running job. A queued job ends `cancelled` at once and a running one when its engine stops; nothing is charged unless the job already published a preview. A job that already ended keeps its outcome. Free.

Auth: `Authorization: Bearer` with an API key or a map.audio access token. MCP tool: `cancel_job`.

## Parameters

## Responses

- `200`: The job.
- `404`: Not found
- `default`: Any other error: `error.code` names it, `error.param` the field at fault, and `error.docUrl` its entry in the error catalogue.
